Chicago Pneumatic Oil-Free Reciprocating Air Compressor
An oil-free reciprocating air compressor is a piston compressor whose cylinders use PTFE (non-metallic) rings instead of oil, so the delivered air is 100% oil-free. Chicago Pneumatic’s oil-free compression chambers and oil-free cylinders with PTFE rings guarantee oil-free air for your most critical process, and every machine is packaged and tested to BS 1571 Part II.
What sets the reciprocating range apart is its enormous pressure span. The HX and HN balanced-opposed-piston (BOP) series cover low pressure (2.5–4 bar) and medium pressure (7–10 bar); the HN HP model reaches 12–15 bar; the VN series adds variable speed; and the PET series delivers high pressure from 24 to 42 bar for blowing PET bottles. Motors run from 15 to 475 HP with flows up to 1315 cfm, all with IE3/IE4 premium-efficiency motors as standard.
